Cadiilac Car's | ATS 2013

Product flagship luxury car brand of General Motors, Cadillac renaissance is generally traced back to the introduction of the rear-drive CTS in 2002 targeted directly at the BMW 3 Series. But before that, in 1999, it is a Cadillac Escalade that puts the spotlight just as the luxury SUV segment it launched. The second generation CTS Coupe and Sportwagon variants carry. SRX crossover is another model for volume brands. A flagship luxury sedan, known as the XTS, arriving in 2012 to replace the SLS and DTS.

Formed from the remains of Henry Ford's company, renamed Cadillac Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, a French explorer who founded the city of Detroit. The company was acquired by GM in 1909. Known as "The Standard of the World" Cadillac was the first to bring to market a car with an electric ignition in 1912 and the first to use the V16 in 1930. Post-war explosion of the 1950's was a golden area for a brand with significant sales growth, body size, and their iconic tailfins.

In 2004 the brand launched the Cadillac V performance to rival BMW M and Mercedes AMG '. With a focus on performance and in motorsports, the second-generation CTS-V finally topped the German, with a 556-hp sedan 4-door first to run a sub 8 minute lap at Germany's famous Nurburgring.
